Hard Swim at MMR

Compression socks rock. After the half-marathon run yesterday, I spent the rest of the day relaxing in compression socks. This morning, my legs were barely sore. Of course, I went to bed early last night to get a decent night’s sleep.

Today was swim day and instead of going to Lifetime Fitness, I decided to go to MMR for masters swim. It is one of the nicest pools around (25-yard pool). We did an easy 400 warm up followed by a reverse ladder set of 400 easy followed by 3 medium-speed sprints of 100 each; 300 easy followed by 3 sprints and so on – all the way down for a total of 2,900 yards. It kicked my ass, but I feel good for the bike ride tomorrow morning!
