Recovery from half marathon | Chocolate milk and salt

No muscle soreness, no injuries, no complaints! I feel great 48 hours after running the PF Chang’s half marathon. Maybe it was the chocolate milk I had right after the race or the water with two packets of salt; or maybe I have trained enough that 13.1 miles doesn’t bother me any more (yes, that sounds pretty cocky)!

An hour-long spin to burn my legs a bit (along with hundreds of calories) was the perfect recipe to loosen my leg muscles today at Lifetime Fitness. The class was packed and the music was thumping. Babette (the instructor) was in full form.

Missy is limping a bit less but I am still somewhat concerned. She jumps and pounces on all of her stuffed toys; we don’t call her crazygirl for nothing!
