Angela is doing better. It looks like she will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow. Let’s hope recovery is quick.
|Multiple Sclerosis 2013 – Cottonwood / Sedona Bike Ride|
Today, a bunch of us went for our first Team KLar ride in Tempe. I’m not sure if I have blogged about my friend Kristen who did Ironman Coeur d’Alene last year. A week after finishing, she found out that she has Multiple Scleroses (MS). What she must have gone through after finding out is something I can hardly relate to. Kristen is organizing a team (KLar) for the 2-day 150-mile ride in Cottonwood/Sedona in May to raise awareness and money for MS. Today was the first hour-long (easy) ride in Tempe where I met a bunch of our team members.
Last night, we went out to Don and Debbie’s house in Fountain Hills and didn’t get back home until after 1AM this morning. We got into a pretty intense discussion about religion (organized religion versus spirituality), prayer, world politics, communism versus capitalism, the pros and cons of inheritance, philosophy, life, love and on and on. Before we knew it, it was 1:00AM!
Tonight, we plan to have pizza and watch the Grammy’s. I’m not sure who has been nominated, but I hope some of the music on my iPad wins. I’ll be rooting for Fun, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry, Pitbull, etc. etc.
