Up McDowell Mountain hill and down to Starbucks at Thompson Peak and Frank Lloyd Wright. That’s how my day started today. I met up with Brett, Shelly, Caty and Angela to ride to hidden hills, back up McDowell Mountain down and North to Pima and back home for a total of 33 miles. I felt great throughout the ride and was pushing the envelope on all uphills. It was comfortably windy.
Right after the ride, I gave Simi and Missy a bath. Once again, they smell like oatmeal and berries.
Today is Cinco de Mayo which means there are celebrations all over town. I’m sure there are drunk obnoxious folks driving around; probably not a good idea to be on your bikes any time after 4PM.
