I was scheduled to go for a 1.5-hour bikeride this morning, but I wasn’t feeling up to it. Instead, I watched the Tour de France as Chris Froome reeled in Nario Quintana in the last few kilometers to win the stage. It was an exciting race with rookie Quintana giving Froome a run for his money!
It’s still HOT in Phoenix, albeit it has cooled down a bit. In the afternoon, I decided to run an easy 7.5 miles on the treadmill at Lifetime Fitness. I thought about going for yoga but I am still coughing a bit, hence it would be unfair to the other folks in class.
I got word that Nootankaka is doing a bit better in India. Apparently, his fever has subsided just a bit but there is still some infection in his intestines. It looks like he will be fine in a few days!
Tomorrow, registration for the Ironman 70.3 Hawai’i opens up at 9AM EST (noon my time). I’ll be trigger-fingers trying to register. Last year, the event sold out pretty fast.
