After a long time, I rode with the Bicycle Ranch group today. It was a pretty easy 41 mile ride through North Scottsdale with 2 significant hills. The first one was up Dynamite between Pima and Alma School Road and the second was up Jomax from Alma School Road. Overall, it didn’t feel like much of a workout because the pace was pretty benign!
This morning, as I was leaving for the bike ride, I saw a herd of javalinas in my back yard. It was 5:30AM, hence the light was poor; but here is a picture (you can see that it is pixelated). When I returned, I realized that they had destroyed some of the cacti that Binita has planted in the front yard. She is not happy with the javalins and has coined a new name for them; Fuckalinas!
