I have mentioned in this blog (in May or June) that my favorite restaurant in the entire world is Bukhara at the Maurya Sheraton in Delhi. The food there is so good that even thinking about it makes my mouth salivate. The food there is so far better than any other place that there is no second or third best restaurant in the world.

Bukhara Clock from Will and Kristi |
When we were in India earlier this year, we ate there on the day after we landed and again on the day that we left India. Each time, the meal was PERFECT. The second time we ate there, Will convinced the wait staff to let him sneak out a menu to carry back home to the States. The menu is made of solid wood with the menu items carved in it. He brought it back to the USA unbeknownst to me. He and Kristi hatched a plan and decided that they will make a clock from it.
Together, they concocted the Bukhara menu watch (pictured above) and gave it to me at dinner today (for my birthday). I’m so excited to hang it up; each time I look at it, I will think of the wonderful food and Will and Kristi. Oh, and if you ever ask me, “What time is it?” my answer will be, “It’s Bukhara time!”
As for the workout today, I woke up early and did hill repeats on Bell Road, going up and down the McDowell Mountain subdivision. It took about 70 minutes to do 4 repeats (plus the climb back up to my house).
