Run-Bike Brick

I generally avoid brick workouts. Advocates of brick workouts talk about its merits but lately some of the pundits have come out against bricks. I’m hardly the quality of athlete for whom it matters that much one way or the other!

Today, I did a brick workout but in reverse order (mostly for time efficiency). I ran for 30 minutes on the Lifetime Fitness treadmill and then swam downstairs in the outdoor pool for a mile before hitting the hot-tub for another 15 minutes. I wanted to recover just a bit because tomorrow is a long biking day! I plan to do the Hidden Hills loop followed by the Fountain Hills loop; lots of hills and lots of miles. It will take me about five-and-a-half hours tomorrow!
