Ali and Greg got married yesterday. It was a festive and beautiful wedding at McCormick Ranch Golf Club. They took their wedding vows as the sun set with Camelback Mountain in the backdrop. Besides Ali and Greg we saw a few familiar faces (and met some pompous folks who shall remain unnamed). The ceremony was followed by a happy hour and dinner with some Jewish as well as pop / rock / motown dancing. I was a bit tired after my long bikeride yesterday but actually made it to the dance floor to show off my embarrassing disco moves.
Congratulations Ali and Greg!
Today, I took it somewhat easy and ran on the treadmill for 7.5 miles in an hour. My old Zoot shoes are done. I tried out my K-Swiss shoes that I bought back when I was in Puerto Rico. They are heavy, sturdy shoes with gives good stability but compromises speed. Ironman training (at my level) is definitely not about speed!
