Last day in Napa

Today was our last day in Napa. All our friends started leaving in the morning. Don and Debbie first, followed by Martha, Brian, Marty, Julie and Len.
I went for a chilly run at around 7:45AM to Yountville and back. Since I only had an hour to run, I wanted to make it a relatively brisk level 2-3 run at sub-8-minute-per-mile. It took me a bit to warm up but I ended up doing just a bit more than 7.5 miles in an hour. I ran to Yountville on the same route as I did yesterday (with Nancy via Yount Mill Road), went through Yountville and ran back on St. Helena Highway. Oh BTW – my new heart rate belt works PERFECTLY!
By the time I got back, we had just enough time to pack, clean the kitchen and start our drive back to Berkeley. We dropped Sanjana off and met Nancy’s brother (Mark) and his wife for brunch before driving the airport and taking the flight back home. Goodbye Napa. We had a good time and will be back!

I’m back with Simi and Missy. Although we had an amazing time in Napa, I missed them. As usual, they greeted me with undying love!
