Round and around and around and around we go

In all this talk about IMAZ, I don’t think I mentioned that i signed up for the PF Chang’s half marathon in January through Team-in-training to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The run group for this meets twice a week, but I have only gone to a couple of these runs. Today, I went to the Scottsdale Community College to run with this group.

I ran for an hour; easy for the first 15 minutes, medium for the next 35 minutes and easy for the last 10 minutes. It is no fun running in circles unless you are doing interval training. It is boring even with the football team practicing their moves on the field. As for what we call football in this part of the world, I’ll leave for a different blog entry on a different day.

I ran 7.39 miles which translated into somewhere between 29 and 30 circles. Yikes! Round and around and around and around we go. Reminds me of the Rihanna song!
