What a difference a week makes

On December 5 and 6, I biked on my home trainer with my heart rate off the charts. Today, I did the same workout and my heart rate was much more controlled. It still has a ways to go, but I felt pretty good after the workout and was relaxed throughout it.

Notice the two charts below – both were taken at the exact same speed. You’ll notice that today’s chart has a much more controlled heart rate (mostly below 140bpm) than the one on December 6 (mostly around 150bpm). It is a clear sign that I am getting better! Finally!!
