Fitbit Flex Dashboard |
Yesterday, Santa gave me the Fitbit Flex. It is a small device that you wear on your wrist to measure the number of steps you take, the calories you burn, the distance you travel and the sleep you get. According to the reviews, it is surprisingly accurate. Apparently, it has an accelerometer and uses a complex algorithm to figure out all these stats. These are presented in a neat little dashboard daily (see picture above for my dashboard from yesterday).
I biked today on a slightly modified route than the normal one I usually do for an hour and fifteen minutes. I went north on Pima road to Happy Valley, turned left and came back south on Hayden before going up the McDowell Mountain Hill on Bell Rd. I took it a bit easy because tomorrow I have to run for 2 hours.
