Today’s hour-long run was pretty smooth. I ran at an 8:19/mile pace on relatively flat roads near my office for a total of 7.23 miles. There were gentle uphills and downhills and a few turns with hardly any red signals.

I feel significantly better than I did a few weeks back. My lung-congestion is virtually gone, my body feels better and my mind is getting stronger. I have to continue to improve for the next few months and hope to stay healthy and injury-free for my marathon on March 1. I need a perfect storm for me to have a chance to qualify for Boston. There is a chance; albeit a small one that I will qualify!
