Bill (my coach) wants me to run the half marathon this Sunday like a training run. I will be active right up race-day and then do the race at a brisk but controlled pace. I will probably see what is left in my tank after 10+ miles before I decide if I want to give it a full effort for the last 5k.
Today I rode solo to Hidden Hills from my office (and back) for a short ~17 miles. It was a gorgeous afternoon with slight winds; I goofed off work for a hour or so and rode! The ride was hilly and slow, but I loved it!
