I am now fully recovered from the half marathon on Sunday. Today is Wednesday; long run day for me. Today I ran for 90 minutes for more than ten-and-a-half miles. Next Wednesdays my long run will be more than two-and-a-hours and the week after it will peak at three hours. Three hours of continuous running really does a number on your body!

Today’s run was relatively flat |
For today’s run, I maintained my heart rate around 145 (level 2) throughout the run; it felt easy and smooth. It actually felt a lot smoother than when I ran the half marathon! I picked a relatively flat course with not very many ups and downs around my office and stopped after an hour for some nutrition and hydration.
