Ladybug Bruchetta

I don’t know how to cook. I have neither the inclination nor the aptitude for it. It simply doesn’t interest me. Today however, I enjoyed my time in the kitchen carving tomatoes and olives, and arranging them neatly with cilantro, cheese, pesto and olive oil on bread to make ladybug bruschetta. I saw a picture of these somewhere in a magazine or a blog and decided that it doesn’t look so hard to make. I did have a hard time sticking the dots on the tomatoes, but as you can see; not only did it look great, it tasted great too. Binita, Naman and Sanjana were impressed. I think I outdid myself!

In the evening today, I ran around DC Ranch for about an hour. My legs felt like jello after yesterday’s long ride and my breathing was a bit off, but I was able to comfortably do 7+ miles.

Two sundays from today, I will be in Cabo at the Ironman. I am nervous and excited at the same time!
