Fifteen minutes of bliss

I am happy today. I ran for 15 minutes on the treadmill. It was blissful. I was slow but I didn’t care. My heartrate monitor was on the fritz showing me a heartrate of 190+ for most of the run but I knew that I was running at level 2. At a speed of between 9 and 10-minute miles, I should be running easily at level 1, but who cares; I was running and I was happy. I didn’t have to stop every two minutes. I could have gone faster, but I am taking it easy for a few weeks.

Simple pleasures! I will now do easy workouts every other day and maybe a bit more over the weekend.
