A brick and a snake

King Snake

I feel really good today; the best I have felt in more than a month. Aside from a slight irritation in my throat and lungs, nothing hurts.

Sheelben came to town last night and left this morning. It was a whirlwind 12-hour trip. We had dinner, went to Yogurtology and talked for a few hours before calling it a night. Her flight left around 8:30AM today. Although short, it was great that she came to visit!

Late this morning, we drove up to the Summit in Silverleaf to take a few Saguaro flower pictures. That’s where we saw this King Snake sunning on the blacktop in the middle of the road. He was a little guy, maybe 4 feet long.

Binita and I went to Lifetime Fitness this afternoon for a quick brick session. I ran for 15 minutes (easy pace) and then got on the stationary bike for another 15 minutes (also easy pace). It felt good to sweat a bit!
