Mental age of 5

I ran on the treadmill at Lifetime Fitness for 40 minutes. I am not sure if it felt tough because I ran on one of their new treadmills or because my level of fitness today was just off. I didn’t experience any symptoms of lethargy or shortness of breath, but my heart-rate was revving high and my speed was so-so at best. I have blogged about this before, but I will do so again. I need patience…

Kristi and my mom are buddies!

At yesterday’s BBQ at my place, we had curried turkey burgers and ribs. As usual, our topics of conversation ranged from life and love to fitness and politics. I hung out with Kai (Rahul’s son). I am quite fond of the little dude. B tells me that my I match his mental age quite nicely. He is all of 5.
