Twice a week yoga to quiet your mind

Gwen (my yoga instructor) has told me that doing yoga twice a week is a good idea for me this summer. It will build my core strength and settle my mind. I am taking her advice to heart and am going to try and commit to doing yoga twice a week. Hence today, I went for yoga for am hour followed by a short swim session.

When I walked over to the pool after yoga, I saw that all lanes in the indoor pool were occupied by kids swim lessons and four of the six lanes in the outdoor pool were occupied also by kids swim lessons. Instead of a quiet mind, I was quite annoyed at Lifetime Fitness. This is exactly the reason that I quit Lifetime late last year. Basically, their swim policies suck. Some things never change…
