Kudos to Nikon

Yesterday, Garmin came through for me. Today, it was Nikon’s turn. I own a superb pair of 10×42 binoculars from Nikon. Unfortunately, they have traveled with me to rugged, dusty places. The front eye-piece had so much gunk in it that it malfunctioned. Since we are planning a trip to South Africa in September (more on that later), I sent it in for service to Nikon and they fixed it at no cost and returned it in about a week. That’s what I call superb customer service!! Thank you Nikon. Thank you Garmin.

I broke my shoes in by running 7.25 miles in an hour on the treadmill at Lifetime Fitness. I started slow and finished well. The shoes feel good. They are comfortable, lightweight and fast. I have to re-calibrate my footpod to work with these Asics Lyte33 shoes, but that is to be expected.
