It was a hot and muggy day today; a perfect day for a cool refreshing swim. That’s exactly what I did. I started with 400 warm-up followed by 3×200, 4×150, 5×100 and 6×50 and 100 warm down; each set just a bit faster than the previous one and just a bit shorter rest. In all, I swam 2,500 meters for a pretty decent workout. I tried to concentrate on my form and my stroke, but on the last lap of each repeat, all I could concentrate on was my breathing; my stroke-efficiency was probably out the door!
