At 5PM today, I went to a 30 minute abs class at The Village. It kicked my butt. It was a cool evening when I started my 55-minute run outdoors. It was my most enjoyable run since I returned back from South Africa. I started on a side-trail near the Gateway Trailhead in the McDonnell Sonoran Preserve but was soon running on the streets for 6+ miles. It is so much easier running in cool weather than has been over the summer.
Over the past few months, Binita and I have financially supported a charity called Pipeline Worldwide. The founder of the charity (Jamie) and I have become friends. The charity supports causes in rural areas of Africa and India by providing clean water, hygiene and contributing to the betterment of underprivileged children. Recently, Jamie invited me to join the board of Pipeline Worldwide and I accepted. I may be travelling to Uganda and Rwanda in 2015 or 2016.
