Ironman Arizona is on Sunday. There is a buzz in the air about in in Phoenix. I had lunch today at OHSO down on Indian School and saw a few athletes running on the canal with blue Ironman bands. There was at least one person in the restaurant wearing an Ironman shirt. I spoke to her briefly to wish her luck on Sunday. Will is already in town for the race. I’ll be there on Sunday cheering everyone on.
Today was rest day for me. Tomorrow is a long run day. My long runs are not really long yet. Tomorrow, I will run for an hour and twenty-five minutes; probably just short of ten miles.
