Chilly air means faster training runs

The air in Arizona is getting chiller and my training runs are getting smoother and faster. Today I ran for just short of 8 miles in 65 minutes at an average speed of 8:20 per mile (including some sub-8 splits). I could easily have gone faster but was running at level 1 and 2 as per the training plan prescribed by Bill.

I hope I am not jinxing it, but I have been injury free for a while now. I have zero aches and pains, my chest is crystal clear as crystal and I have virtually zero stress. I hope this continues for a while.

We shall see how well I do on race-day (5k) in a couple of days!
