Morning Coyote

It was nice and cool late this afternoon for a brisk hour-long run. My training is starting to pick up now. Of the hour, I ran the first 15 and last 10 minutes easy with 17 minutes at level 2 and 18 minutes at level 3. It is mostly about managing heart-rate rather than managing speed. My heart-rate was between 153 and 160 when I was running at level 3; and my speed was sub-8 pace. I felt good and relaxed.

In the morning yesterday, I was driving to work and saw this gorgeous coyote waiting for a bit of traffic to cross the road. I stopped my car as our eyes met. He waited patiently for me to take a couple of pictures. I love the area we live in. We are surrounded by desert landscape and lots of sunshine!
