After a couple of days of light rain, there was a nice chill in the air in Scottsdale. The winds were calm and the temperature hovered around 60. It was a nice day for a short run. I am still a bit congested but a 40-minute run was just what the doctor ordered to get my blood pumping. I actually ran 5 miles in 42 minutes (ignore heart-rate, it was obviously misbehaving).
My new Garmin 920XT unit should arrive on Saturday. It measures your vertical oscillation (VO). I am not too sure how to interpret VO, but apparently the lower your VO, the more efficiently you run. Hey, if it is going to help me become faster, I’m all eyes and ears.
