A special Christmas gift

Today is Christmas 2014. The day started with gift openings. Missy, Naman, Binita, me, Amit and Dana are all here and we all had our share of gifts. All I wanted was the Garmin 920XT which I have already started using, but I have to say that I received a very special gift. The pencil drawing of Simi will adorn our living room or kitchen soon. As you can see, it is superbly hand-drawn. Simi’s stocking was on the chimney along with all of ours. It was sad to celebrate our first Christmas in 15 years without Simi. We miss her…

I ran this morning around the Thompson Peak / Legacy loop for about 7.5 miles in an hour. It was a pretty good effort on a relatively flat run. On Strava, I notched up top-tens on two segments. Not bad…
