Slowly and steadily improving form

It has started to warm up again. Apparently, the flu is going around in Arizona but I remain unaffected (good thing too). At this time last year, I was recovering from a bout of pleurisy and was starting to regain my form. I was training for the Phoenix Marathon (Boston qualifier). This year, I am a little ahead of schedule from last year and I still have 4 months to go before my big race. We’ll see if I continue to feel as good as I do today!

I ran for 7.35 miles in an hour today. I managed my heart-rate mostly within level 2 and 3. My heart-rate levels have dropped over the past month. This just means that my aerobic capacity has started to increase because of training. This is a good thing. I still am not near where I was last March, but I’m getting there!
