Bit too much Jesus for my taste

Between random personal and work stuff, the day went by in a blink today. It was easily the busiest day of 2015 so far.

The entire morning was spent dealing with solar panel approval with the Silverleaf HOA. It is still not approved and I have some choice words for them. Next, an incompetent plumber showed up at my place for a few faucet, shower-drain and leaky issues. It took him more than 2 hours to give me estimates and he wasn’t even able to give me all the estimates! With any skill, he should have fixed at least half the issues.

The next couple of hours were spent in the office followed by lunch with EXP Trips (Jake and Kristi) followed by my first Board Meeting for Pipeline Worldwide. I can already tell that I am going to love serving on the board with folks from all spectrums of life; some executives, some professionals, some small business owners. The only common thread is that they all have good hearts. Honestly, there was a bit too much “Jesus” for my taste, but I have to look beyond that to see all the good work that the organization is doing!

By the time I got home, it was around 6PM and I still had to run for 40 minutes before the end of the day. I quickly changed and drove to The Village for an easy treadmill run.

I feel good about the race on Sunday. I’ll be happy with anything in the low 1:40s.
