For the past few weeks, it has been cold and a bit wet in Arizona (at least by Arizona standards). All of a sudden, it has warmed up. Today, the temperature was in the mid to upper 70s with bright sunshine. I ran for 45+ minutes at Granada Park (canal) while Binita and her mother took Missy for a walk. It was windy. My run was labored and my heart-rate was revving high. I attribute this to the 10+ MPH winds and relatively warm temperatures.
Next week, my training-runs will start getting tougher and longer. Intervals will kick in. It’ll be hard but also fun. I don’t have a steady running partner right now. If you are reading this blog, live somewhere in North Scottsdale and love to run, let me know!
