Running briskly in the cloudless, windless outdoors

It is warm again in Scottsdale. The craziness of the Superbowl and the Phoenix Open Golf Tournament are behind us. The sun is shining and things are back to normal.

It was tempo run today. I started slow for the first 10 minutes, picked it up for around 40 minutes and then slowed down for the last 10 minutes. It felt great to be out there in the cloudless sky and windless outdoors to run at a brisk sub-8-minute-mile pace. At this very moment, I have no aches or pains. I am hardly even sore. I hope I am not jinxing anything by blogging about it!
