| Me, Kelly, Shelly at Lifetime Fitness (after swimming) |
I don’t swim too often these days. I don’t enjoy it as much and I don’t like to be cold. With the advent of summer, swimming will take center-stage for the next few months.
Today, I went to my old stomping grounds at Lifetime Fitness and met up with Shelly and her friend Kelly to swim a little more than a mile. I hadn’t seen Shelly in forever so it was good to catch up.
In the evening, Mitch and Nancy came over with their kids for takeout food from Pita Jungle. Nancy’s mom and Binita’s mom were both there too talking up a storm about MSNBC and politics. It was a relaxed, fun evening with conversations ranging from sports to travel to (of course) liberal politics.
