As a warm-up to #NationalRunningDay tomorrow, I ran 5 miles on the treadmill at The Village. School must be out because there were tons of teenagers occupying a bunch of treadmills, stairmasters and elliptical machines. They tend to talk in high volumes while checking their mobile phones. Most of them are dressed in perfectly matching outfits (typically from brands like Lululemon) and are unsure about their training routines flitting from one piece of equipment to another. They also tend to travel in small flocks. It’s interesting (and a bit annoying) watching them!
Anyway, my swim coach Anne A. Wilson is now an author. She released a book called Hover about a female helicopter pilot in the US Navy. Of course, I bought the book and will probably read it on my way to Seattle.
