For the next six weeks, my training will be on pause mode. I have to repeat my blood tests about six weeks from now and I cannot put my body through any serious trauma. Long runs are definitely out. Any races longer than 10k are also definitely out. All I will do is yoga, ab work, short runs, cardio training and medium weights.
After my blood test around August 10, I will go through quick marathon training of less than 3 months to train for the NYC Marathon. The NYC Marathon is on November 1.
Today, I ran for an easy 30 minutes at The Village.
When I returned back from Seattle, my new swimming goggles arrived. They seem to fit perfectly on my face and (as you can see), they are very sleek! I’ll try them in the water this weekend.
