Great Horned Owls on my neighbor’s chimney

Great Horned Owls

It was the usual tough Monday abs class led by Julie at The Village today. In only 30 minutes, she had my abs, quads and shoulders crying for help. As always, I loved every painful moment of it!

While walking Missy in the evening, I saw an owl resting on my neighbor’s chimney. I quickly went home, got my SLR camera with a 200mm zoom and returned to be pleasantly surprised that another owl had joined in. These two were probably hunting for mice, lizards and snakes in the dusk. It may be hot these days in Arizona but the wildlife is out in full force. Snakes have been out and about since May and the Sonoran Toad will soon surface as the heat and humidity builds!
