Hot outside, therefore indoor Sunday workout

After my not-so-long long run of 10 miles yesterday, it was time to do an easy training session today. Binita joined me in an hourlong workout that went like this:

  • 7 minute warm up with easy jogging
  • 2 minutes at level 3 running followed by 1 minute easy jogging
  • 3 minutes of biceps and triceps with weights
  • 4 minutes of easy jogging, 2 minutes at level 3 running, 1 minute easy jogging
  • 3 minutes of biceps and triceps with weights
  • 4 minutes of easy jogging, 2 minutes at level 3 running, 1 minute easy jogging
  • 3 minutes of abs
  • 4 minutes of easy jogging, 2 minutes at level 3 running, 1 minute easy jogging
  • 3 minutes of abs
  • 4 minutes of easy jogging, 2 minutes at level 3 running, 1 minute easy jogging
  • 2 minutes of lunges followed by 1 minute plank
  • 4 minutes of easy jogging, 2 minutes at level 3 running, 1 minute easy jogging
  • 2 minutes of lunges followed by 1 minute plank
  • Cool down until the total session is exactly 1 hour
It was not an intense hour, but it did get my heart pumping during the level 3 sprints. I was indoors throughout the session running on the indoor track and doing weights right next to the track. It was 106 outside…
