Treadmill or dreadmill

Missy feels better. The new combination of medicine she is on is working. She has more energy now. I wish she would go back to her old crazy self jumping here and there and barking at this and that, but age has caught up with her. It is sad to see her slow down…

It remains hot and somewhat humid in Scottsdale. After the 5k race yesterday, it was long run day today and I ran the entire 10 miles on the treadmill. I maintained my heartrate in the fat-burning zone of level 1 and level 2. It gets pretty boring to run any more than an hour indoors but I hardly have a choice when the temperature outside is touching 110. Let’s hope that by the time my long runs exceed 15 miles it cools down. Else, I will have to start calling the treadmill the dreadmill.
