My calf pain is gone. Completely gone. I am surprised as to how quickly I have recovered from it! I was going to rest today to nurse my calf but I didn’t have to. I woke up late, took it easy all morning, lazed around in the early afternoon and then went for a shakedown workout to loosen my legs after yesterday’s brutal long run.
On the indoor track at The Village, I alternated between running and a variety of weights, squats, pull-ups, box jumps, quick-hops and planks for a good 80 minutes for a relatively easy but satisfying session.
Next week, it only gets harder…
