Conflicting voices inside one’s head

Today is labor day. The history of labor day goes back to 1885 but I honestly don’t know much about it. If you want to learn about it, go here! I don’t mean to trivialize it but to me, it is just a national holiday. In Arizona it marks the end of the summer heat and the beginning of cooler temperatures. Unfortunately, after relatively cool temperatures last week, it has started to heat back up into triple digits again this week.

Naman is in town. He and I went to a body strength class at The Village. Compared to some of the classes I have taken (e.g. abs and cardio strength), it was a relatively easy class today. In the late afternoon we went to see Inside Out, an excellent animated movie that goes into the psyche of a little girl from Minnesota. Her inner emotions (voices insider her head) are played by animated characters including joy, sadness, disgust, fear and anger. It is an excellent film. I am harsh critic of movies but I would definitely recommend it.
