After the half marathon yesterday, my training today was more recovery than anything else. Everything I did was easy. Easy jog, easy weights, easy crunches, easy squats, short plank, few pull-ups, few push-ups, etc.. The idea was to keep going for 80 minutes but at super-low intensity to allow blood to flow through my body and rejuvenate my tense muscles. It must have worked well because I am barely even sore!
In the evening, we went out to see “Spirit of the Marathon” at The Film Bar in downtown Phoenix. It was an LLS fundraiser plus movie. If you get a chance, see it. It is a 10-year old movie but very well done!
