Wild heartrate fluctuations during cross training

I went to the Cross Training Challenge class at The Village taught by Mel. Mel is crazy. She is an ultrarunner. She competes in 50-mile and 100-mile trail runs and routinely wins them. She also falls down and cracks her bones regularly. Today she had a cast on her right wrist. It was pink. She’s in amazing shape!

Today’s class was a combination of running sprints on the indoor track (upstairs) mixed in with lunges, ab work, weights, planks, burpees, etc. etc. You can see the wild fluctuations in my heartrate. The high points were reached during track running (3 times 5 laps around the indoor track).

My blood test results should be back tomorrow. Fingers are crossed.
