Short and easy but hilly run | Marathon Majors

Hilly Run in Silverleaf

We have relatives in town. Binita’s cousin arrived from Michigan yesterday. Their grown son, his wife and son; and their daughter arrived from Georgia and the North Carolina. It’s house full! We celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday with a vegetarian Mexican meal. As expected I’m stuffed!

Since coming off Xarelto earlier this week, I feel zero side-effects. I am yet to start my on-a-day baby aspirin. That will start this weekend. I have yet to take my bicycle(s) out to get them rady for next weekend. That too will happen this weekend!

After the race yesterday, I ran easy 3.52 miles around my house today. It was nothing but hills but it felt good in the cool Arizona sunshine. Tomorrow the plan is to go to Sedona for the day.

I have blogged in the past couple of months that I am running the London Marathon in April, 2016. Today, I officially heard from them and I filled out the necessary paperwork to run. London will be my third Marathon Major. Earlier this year, I ran Boston (April) and New York (November). I have also applied for the Berlin Marathon lottery. I expect to hear from them in the first week of December!
