It isn’t often that I get into a Twitter war. The only reason that I have uttered harsh words on Twitter is because I was unhappy with customer service. This happened with American Airlines once and Saucony once. American Airlines never took care of me but Saucony was great!
Today, I warred with an gun-loving ultra-conservative who didn’t like my satire from yesterday’s blog post about “run culture versus gun culture.” I was polite but firm throughout the conversation. She is obviously misinformed (or brainwashed) with her view of “guns, guns and more guns” and “it’s all Obama’s fault” but I still wish her well.
She disagreed with me that we are a gun culture. Seriously, she did! She thinks we are a “bad people culture.” This is ironically funny because I thought all conservatives purport that we are the “greatest nation on earth.” Isn’t it an oxymoron to say that we are a “greatest nation on earth” but have a “bad people culture?” You decide! You can see a good portion of the conversation above.
Anyway, for training today, I rested. It will be a slow December for training. I will pick it up again in late December!
Oh, my tickets to India are booked. I depart on January 28, 2016 and return on February 13, 2016. This time, I am going with a few fellow Pipeline Worldwide board members; we plan to visit a few orphanages and underprivileged kids’ homes that we support around Bhubaneshwar and Ahmedabad.
