I refuse to talk any more about the weather. Oops, I just did!! It remains cold and wet and rainy and nasty by Arizona standards. Let’s move on…
I had a Pipeline Worldwide board meeting today. We welcomed 3 new board members. Our finances look solid now. Our mission, goals and the overall structure are also coming together nicely. 2016 should be a good year with more contributions to causes in India and Africa.
Our India trip itinerary is final now. I leave on the 27th of January to spend a day in Chicago with Sande and Kevin, and then take off for India on the 28th. The first few days will be in Mumbai full of family, friends and fun.
Before my departure, I have two running races. This weekend is a friendly LLS 5k or 10k in honor of coach Frank. Next weekend is the Arizona Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon.
The rain and cold relegated me to run for 50 minutes on the treadmill today. It was an easy run at a comfortable pace of about 8:12 per mile. I feel good these days!
