| At the Arizona Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Expo |
Early this morning, I took Missy to a new vet. As per the doctors at Petsmart, she needs an ultrasound. The new vet did a few blood tests and saw that her internal organ functions are returning to normal. Since her affect is also better, he recommended that we wait for the ultrasound until next week (if necessary). She is more energetic than last week for sure. I hope the trend continues.
I spent the of today preparing for the half marathon tomorrow. I ran a quick 2.1 miles around my neighborhood. I went to the expo to pick up my race packet (I will start in Corral 2; my bib number is 2165). I went to the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society inspiration dinner at Avanti and loaded up on carbs.
I got home and laid out my race gear for tomorrow. My over-under is 1:44, but I won’t be disappointed if I go over. Depends on how I feel, I may stop and take a few pictures. It’s a “B” race.
